Innovation is one of the key aims of the Knitting & Crochet Guild. It achieves this by promoting growth and development of hand knitting, machine knitting and crochet.

Building on their knowledge, expertise and practice members are creating new approaches for these traditional crafts.  The Guild also promotes innovation developed elsewhere within the wider craft community, fashion and commercial enterprise. Without innovation the crafts will lose their appeal and relevance to new users.
