What's the 'Guild On Show'?

Part of the Knitting & Crochet Guild's purpose is to promote and champion knitting and crochet whenever and wherever we can. We take part in a variety of national and local shows and events around the country, such as The Knitting & Stitching Shows, Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts, British Wool Weekend and several others. Here are some images of succesful events.

The involvement of active knitters and crocheters in different parts of the country is vital to the successful running of these events so that visitors and attendees enjoy workshops and meet other exhibitors.

We are always on the lookout for volunteers at every level of experience and expertise, and enthusiasm is just as important. Help to set up and staff the Guild stand and/or to teach classes is always needed. It is a great chance to attend the event and to be involved in the promotion of the Guild and our crafts.

The Guild is planning to be at the Knitting and Stitching shows at Alexandra Palace, London and Harrogate Internationl Centre.
